After years of research Hozelock announce their new pond filter. Creative thinking has influenced a switch from solid filter sponges to smaller cubed sponge filters. The best part of this approach comes into action when it is time to clean the filter - all you need to do is switch off your pond pump and give the cleaning handle a few turns each way. Inside your filter the micro sponges are displaced and bang into each other effectively dislodging dirt. Switch your pump back on with the water now directed outside of your pond to the waste outlet and watch in amazement as your dirty water disperses.
